Our Story
Rapid Tools provides sales, service & support for Industrial tooling, Construction & Compressed air systems in KwaZulu Natal and the Eastern Cape. Our client base includes the general industry, construction Industry as well as the motor vehicle manufacturing industry.
The company was established in 1989 by Vic Young, repairing air tools out of the garage. The business grew exponentially and soon Vic’s Three Sons Nic, Len and Tim joined the company. Due to the growth, we were forced to move into a larger premises.
We were approached by Atlas Copco to become a distributor for their range of industrial equipment, Construction equipment as well as Ceccato stationary electric driven compressors and became well known for service excellence and innovative solutions within South Africa. Currently we procure equipment from across the globe to suit every need.
Our Port Elizabeth branch has recently expanded in 2022 and is situated within the business district of the City.
